Navigating the collector landscape through the rest of the year comes down to discipline and inventory timing. The days of impulse-buying entire waves at standard retail pricing are fading fast under economic pressure. Collectors who thrive in 2026 separate their targets: lock down foreign imports and limited convention runs via early pre-orders, while holding out for inevitable clearance cycles on mainstream domestic lines.
Pairing strategic patient buying with the Pile of Loot system insulates your wallet against escalating shipping overhead. As fall reveals and holiday production waves draw closer, monitoring supply chains and locking in guaranteed orders before allocations dry up remains the single most effective way to build a top-tier collection.
