On June 5, 2022, four days before his death, Noriega announced the creation of a private Discord server titled "Coop’s Advice." He posted an emotional video on TikTok explaining his motivations. He wanted to build an organized community where teenagers and young adults could discuss mental illness and addiction without judgment.
"I’ve been struggling with addiction since I was 9 years old," Noriega stated in the announcement. He added that his ultimate goal was to establish a physical rehabilitation center where individuals could seek recovery regardless of financial standing. Within 72 hours, more than 15,000 members joined the server, exchanging personal stories, crisis resources, and words of encouragement.
On the morning of June 9, Noriega posted what would be his final video to TikTok. In the clip, he lay in bed looking directly into the camera lens, accompanied by the text overlay: "who else b thinking they gon d!e young af." The short clip was viewed millions of times within hours. Later that afternoon, Burbank emergency personnel were dispatched to a commercial parking lot on West Olive Avenue, where Noriega was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m. No signs of trauma were present at the scene.
