The contract rewards ledger calculates photo payouts through two main factors: distance from the target and category priority. A crisp photograph captured within three meters earns full three-star rewards, granting maximum base cash and experience. Taking the shot from beyond eight meters downgrades the capture to a one-star rating, cutting your monetary return by 50% to 70%.
A full photo album maximizes mission profitability. Do not burn your entire film supply solely on the ghost. Fill remaining slots with secondary evidence: fingerprints left on doors, disturbed salt footprints, active writing journals, and cursed artifacts like Ouija boards or summoning circles. Each unique photo category stacks toward your total match bonus. Duplicate pictures of the same manifestation award zero payout, meaning your team should coordinate so only one investigator fires the flash during any single encounter.
