By late 2019, DeMuro made a definitive geographical and operational leap. Relocating from suburban Philadelphia to San Diego, California, he traded snowy mid-Atlantic commutes for year-round filming weather and proximity to the West Coast's car culture.
The centerpiece of this relocation was his high-profile purchase of a designated historic home in San Diego's established neighborhoods. The 1913 Craftsman-style estate, recognized as an official city landmark, reflected a homeowner investing for long-term domestic roots rather than a flashy influencer compound. The property provided the space required for an expanding garage fleet alongside the peaceful insulation needed for raising a family.
Around this time, DeMuro spotted unusual exotics cruising near Coronado Island and expanded his community involvement. Southern California offered an ideal staging ground for his burgeoning production schedule, while giving his wife and growing household the space to live away from creator-heavy enclaves like Los Angeles.
