Winter's career path followed a methodical progression from daytime drama to genre television and network procedurals. Long before leading squad cars as Tim Bradford on The Rookie, he established his range across varied genres.
He spent three years on NBC's Days of Our Lives as Rex DiMera, earning a loyal daytime following. He later took on prominent guest arcs across mainstream medical and crime series, including a recurring turn as Dr. Matt Coyle on ABC's The Good Doctor during its freshman season in late 2017. Tracking his television timeline illustrates how his screen presence evolved independently of The CW's casting system.
