Carlos Sainz Jr. was born on September 1, 1994, to Carlos Sainz Sr. and Reyes Vázquez de Castro. Rather than an all-male racing clan, the Sainz household is anchored by two daughters who pursued professional paths outside the steering wheel.
His older sister, Blanca Sainz Vázquez, was born in 1993. Educated at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid, Blanca built a career in business administration and sports management. She has worked extensively with major fitness and hospitality brands, including Reebok Sports Club in Spain. Blanca married Guillermo Comenge in a widely publicized 2023 ceremony in Cebreros, Spain, where Carlos Jr. and his father walked side by side in celebration.
His younger sister, Ana Sainz Vázquez, arrived in 1998. Ana studied business administration and management at IE University before entering the fashion, luxury consulting, and digital marketing sectors. She tied the knot with Rodrigo Fontcuberta in early 2023 at the same family estate in Ávila where the siblings spent their childhoods. Both sisters frequently attend European rounds, from the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona to the streets of Monaco, offering moral support away from engineering debriefs.
