A persistent problem across entertainment wikis is the casual misattribution of birth dates. Several digital databases claim Elissa Carroll was born in 1998, while others conflate her with adult professionals born in the mid-1980s. A review of verified biographical features published throughout Rocky Carroll’s tenure on CBS’s Chicago Hope and his subsequent entrance to NCIS in 2008 sets the record straight.
Carroll repeatedly referenced his daughter in print profiles during the late 2000s, discussing the routines of raising an elementary-school child during grueling 14-hour television shoot days. Those accounts consistently pin her arrival to 2001. As of 2026, Elissa Carroll is 25 years old. The five-year discrepancy commonly seen on automated directories is a byproduct of scrapers misindexing unrelated individuals who share the name Elissa or Elise Carroll across court records and collegiate sports rosters.
