In mid-2024, production began on ABS-CBN’s high-budget espionage thriller Incognito, billed as one of the network's most physically taxing projects. Veneracion stepped into intensive tactical training, weapons handling, and hand-to-hand combat drills alongside co-stars Richard Gutierrez and Daniel Padilla. At an age when most actors ease into supporting patriarch roles, he demanded grueling operational authenticity on camera.
Simultaneously, Veneracion pursued a completely different creative lane. Under the moniker "stephn", a deliberate call back to his birth name, Stephen, he stepped away from conventional pop ballads. His recent EP showcases an alternative musical voice driven by introspective songwriting, layered acoustic guitars, and atmospheric production.
This dual pursuit reveals an artist comfortable operating on his own terms. His mestizo features no longer dictate how audiences perceive him. Instead, viewers accept him equally as a bruised tactical operative in prime-time action scenes and as an understated indie musician playing intimate live venues.
