Leila Hormozi was born on July 12, 1992, in Michigan. That birthdate makes her 33 years old at the start of 2026, approaching her 34th birthday in July. Public speculation often inflates her age because her executive resume matches professionals ten to fifteen years her senior.
Her early background centered on physical discipline and behavioral science rather than corporate finance. She completed her undergraduate education at Western Michigan University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. That academic grounding focused on kinesiology and human performance, yet its practical utility emerged in organizational design and corporate compliance.
After finishing college, Hormozi moved to Southern California, taking sales roles within regional fitness facilities. Those early positions required high-volume, client-facing outbound sales where turnover ran rampant. She developed a structured approach to lead conversion and client retention that outpaced industry standards. By 2015, she was leading regional sales teams, logging sixty-hour workweeks, and documenting the recurring operational bottlenecks that routinely crippled owner-operated fitness studios.
