Inside ILLIT's five-member roster, comprising Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha, Wonhee occupies an intriguing middle ground. The group's youngest member is Japanese performer Iroha, who was born in March 2008. That makes Wonhee the second-youngest member of the ensemble. Despite not holding the technical title of youngest, audiences frequently identify her as the group's emotional center due to her wide-eyed reactions and youthful presence.
Her vocal identity provides balance against the group's house and synth-pop arrangements. In contrast to high-belting conventions, Wonhee delivers crisp, percussive vocal textures that define the opening measures of their discography. Producers at BELIFT LAB have structured their releases to maximize her vocal rhythm, ensuring that her youthful timbre serves as an acoustic signature rather than just an age-based visual gimmick.
