You cannot simply break these stakes with a diamond or netherite pickaxe. Doing so drops nothing and risks corrupting the local structure tag on unpatched server builds. Instead, walk up to each stake and right-click with an empty hand. The stake shakes, crumbles into the ground, and displays an on-screen prompt: "A chain binding the Firescourge Seal snaps."
