Q1: Did Megumi die when Sukuna transformed into his Heian form?
No. Sukuna's Heian incarnation was a total biological morph rather than an execution of the vessel. Sukuna reshaped Megumi's flesh into his ancient four-armed silhouette while keeping Megumi's underlying soul buried beneath the surface.
Q2: Did Megumi suffer permanent brain damage from Unlimited Void?
Megumi sustained massive spiritual strain from Gojo's Domain Expansion, but the physical brain recovered once Sukuna's cursed energy severed from the host. By the epilogue chapters, Megumi demonstrates full cognitive function without visible neurological deficits.
Q3: Is Megumi alive at the very end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga?
Yes, Megumi is confirmed alive. He survives the Shinjuku Showdown, reunites with Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, and continues working as a licensed jujutsu sorcerer in the new post-Gojo era.
