Grazer exploded into mainstream awareness at age 13 playing Eddie Kaspbrak in Andy Muschietti’s 2017 adaptation of Stephen King’s IT. The box-office hit earned over $700 million globally, turning its cast of child actors into overnight sensations. With that level of visibility came an invasive tier of internet fandom that micro-analyzed every comment on their Instagram accounts.
His first publicly known romantic relationship occurred during that initial wave of fame. In late 2017, Grazer began dating social media personality Ellie Hiyar. The two were frequently photographed together, sharing lighthearted moments typical of middle-school relationships. Yet the intense pressures of online celebrity quickly took a toll. After months of intrusive commentary from fan communities, the pair ended their relationship in early 2018. Hiyar later addressed the split during a live broadcast, confirming that they had parted on good terms.
