Podcasting transformed comedy distribution, but Godfrey’s initial foray, In Godfrey We Trust on the GaS Digital Network, was raw, loose, and rooted in unfiltered comedy talk. One54 Africa strikes a very different tone. Co-hosted with American Ninja Warrior and The Talk anchor Akbar Gbajabiamila, the show centers on the 54 nations of the African continent, analyzing cultural exports, political realities, tech innovation, and sports from a diaspora lens.
The agreement with 3Point0 Labs provides the enterprise with institutional leverage. Founded to build multi-platform intellectual property connecting traditional entertainment with global creator economies, 3Point0 Labs targets neglected international media corridors. Through this partnership, the production team gains access to expanded studio infrastructure, corporate sponsorship pipelines, and international distribution networks designed to reach audiences across Lagos, London, Atlanta, and Johannesburg.
Instead of recycling standard promotional talk-show beats, One54 Africa treats the diaspora as a unified economic and cultural market. Godfrey brings structural wit and pointed cultural commentary, while Gbajabiamila offers broadcast polish and connections across mainstream American sports television.
