Parenting a sixteen-year-old alongside a one-year-old creates unique household rhythms. Casie approaches adult independence, college preparations, and personal career choices just as Saga begins walking and speaking her first words. Baker regularly shifts between college campus tours and toddler safety gates, a contrast that demands sharp emotional flexibility.

Casie has embraced her role as an older sister, often assisting with Saga during extended family gatherings while carving out her own space. Rather than creating tension, the age gap offers Casie an observational seat to a calmer, settled iteration of her father, distinct from the chaotic rise that defined her own childhood.
