Hollywood tends to interpret privacy as failure. When an actor steps away from high-profile auditions, industry chatter often assumes the work dried up. In Liboiron's case, the pullback was self-authored. He has increasingly turned his attention toward writing, directing short-form projects, and participating in Canada’s close-knit theater and indie film communities.
His trajectory resembles that of contemporaries like Robert Pattinson or Brady Corbet, who both traded teen fame for daring, low-budget cinematic risks. While Liboiron has pursued that path with far less public fanfare, the underlying philosophy is identical: longevity comes from artistic ownership, not commercial conformity.
