Kateb's digital presence shifted noticeably when geopolitical tensions escalated in early 2026. Fiercely proud of her Iranian heritage, Kateb stepped away from standard lifestyle programming in March 2026 following military strikes in the region, declaring on social channels that she was "truly shattered."
Her willingness to speak on international conflicts distinguished her within the reality TV landscape. Lifestyle personalities often stay silent during global crises to avoid alienating commercial sponsors or sparking political debate. Kateb took the opposite route. She shared family context, amplified humanitarian concerns, and directed her followers to international relief funds aiding civilians.
The response from her community was immediate and largely supportive. Commenters on TikTok and Instagram noted that her openness humanized her feed, bridging the gap between polished influencer content and authentic, real-world empathy. By bringing her cultural identity into her public life, Kateb made it clear she would not compromise her family roots for corporate palatability.
