The dynamic within the Gross sisterhood rests on a clear operational division of labor. Nubia Gross serves as the undisputed brains and mouthpiece. Recognizable by her cropped hair, hoop earrings, and folded-arms posture, Nubia rarely throws a punch herself; she commands the operation through verbal intimidation and sharp barbs. Voice actor Raquel Lee infused Nubia with a gritty cadence, giving her iconic demands an unmistakable playground authority.
Flanking Nubia are her two siblings. Gina Gross, voiced by industry veteran Pamela Adlon, provides pure kinetic energy. Petite, feral, and perpetually ready to fight, Gina functions as the attack dog of the trio. She communicates largely through rapid-fire scowls and bare-knuckle posturing.
O'Shea Gross, the eldest and tallest, represents the physical muscle. Towering over students and teachers alike, O'Shea speaks sparingly, letting her sheer physical frame compel classmates to turn out their pockets. Together, they formed an impenetrable wall of middle school extortion, turning daily hall crossings into a tactical negotiation for Penny Proud and her crew.
