Live performances form the lifeblood of Lou's operation. As reported by entertainment publications in March 2024, she mapped out an extensive international run titled The Shelter Tour, filling historic venues across both Europe and North America. Her live shows avoid pre-recorded click tracks or flashy digital backdrops. The performance relies solely on musicianship, improvisation, and vocal control.
On stage, Lou balances vulnerability with commanding authority. She frequently switches between playing a customized Fender Mustang electric guitar and leaning entirely into the microphone to deliver intricate jazz vocal runs. Her touring band features close friends and multi-instrumentalists who swap instruments between tracks, creating a fluid, spontaneous atmosphere on stage. For fans checking upcoming live tour dates across independent ticket exchanges, seeing Lou perform is rarely about watching an artist replicate a studio track note-for-note. Each concert acts as a distinct live interpretation, marked by extended instrumental outros, spoken anecdotes, and immediate emotional intensity.
